INSPIRE ME!

Who inspires you?

I love to be inspired! Inspiration can come from so many places in life. I find it usually shows up in the face of adversity.

As a child my family inspired me. My parents and siblings have all either dealt with heath issues, divorce or financial struggles. Yet, they continued to move forward, they continued to care for their loved ones and put them first no matter what. They never gave up no matter how high the mountain, and believe me some were Everest-like in magnitude.

My husband and both our sons inspire me each day as kind, bright, hard working and loving men.

If I go over my list of girlfriends, they are all strong willed, tenacious and loving women.

As I am writing this I am realizing that I am at my best when I am around inspiring people.

Money, beauty and fame do not do it for me. My inspiration comes from the human condition. In watching someone push himself or herself just a little beyond their comfort zone in order to get closer to living the life they crave.

Over the last ten years, I have come closer to bringing these values into my career life.

Each and every meeting that I lead with Weight Watchers I am inspired by our members. They come to us to lose weight. The journey is not easy and involves making some significant changes to their lifestyles. Change is not easy, especially when you are dealing with life long habits. Every change they make to improve their lives inspires me to do the same.

Tonight I will be adding to my community of inspiring women by leading my first ZUMBA GOLD class.
I know that many of them will be trying this for the first time and may be a little nervous. They are the ones that move me! It’s easy to go out and do something that you know you can do, but to step into the unknown, well that is where fear meets determination.

I have never instructed anything like a fitness class. So yes, I am stepping out of my comfort zone tonight. But I have learned that just outside of that zone is where life really happens.

So, I will be there tonight ready to shake, wiggle and giggle with all the wonderful women who come along. You won’t be able to miss me. I will be the one wearing the instructor shirt that reads:

That's awesome Louise! How did it go? I too am inspired by people who are out there making the effort to improve their lives - and others lives - and you are right, the world is full of such wonderful people.

Thanks Janet. It was amazing...I have never had so much fun 'working' as I did Monday. 41 amazing, beautiful women out there busting moves, laughing and having a blast. I was truly inspired and can't wait until next class!
